Internships at Hogan

At Hogan, our internship program is built for students who want hands-on experience applying psychology and data science to real-world problems. Interns work alongside researchers, consultants, and business professionals on projects that directly support research, products, and solutions.

Our work is guided by the philosophy of Kaizen, continuous improvement. That means constantly refining our assessments, strengthening the science behind them, and improving how they are used in organizations around the world. As an intern, you won’t just observe this process; you’ll contribute to it.

Hogan interns gain practical experience, mentorship, and exposure to how evidence-based tools are developed and applied across industry, government, and academic settings. By the end of the program, interns leave with impactful project experiences, marketable skills, and a clearer understanding of how science drives organizations.

Why Intern at Hogan?

Hogan’s internship program offers hands-on experience across fall, spring, and summer terms, with placements designed to align with your academic background and career interests. Interns are paired with full-time professionals who provide one-on-one mentorship and guidance throughout the program.

Additionally, interns will become certified in the Hogan assessments. As part of the certification and onboarding experience, they will receive personalized Hogan feedback on their assessment results to better understand how the tools are used in real organizational settings while also learning more about themselves in the process.

The program is designed to help interns build practical skills, professional confidence, and real-world experience, whether your next step is graduate school or entering the workforce.
