Anne-Marie Paiement, PhD, regional director in APAC at Hogan, spoke alongside Pradnya Parasher, CEO at ThreeFish Consulting, at the AESC leadership luncheon in Delhi, discussing data‑driven insights on executive selection and leadership success in India. We successfully partnered again with Sarah Mortimer, AESC’s APAC managing director. The session challenged assumptions about executive leadership in India, replacing intuition‑based selection with data‑driven insights. It explored differences between leadership emergence versus performance; how bias, familiarity, and contextual expectations shape who rises to the top; and the need for leaders who can build resilient, high‑performing teams amid India’s rapid economic growth.
